Come as you are!
We have a relaxed, informal style where you’ll feel comfortable coming as you are. Don’t worry about dressing up or needing to say or do things in a particular way.
You will meet people who are a lot like you. Imperfect but eager. People sometimes comment that we're a friendly bunch. When friendliness is real, it's coming from a deep place. Jesus explained it like this:
"The one who has been forgiven much, loves much; the one who has been forgiven little, loves little." Luke 7:47 NASB
We all tend to imagine that God is a bit ticked off and that He doesn't want us around until we clean up our act. So we're tempted to stay away when we need Him most. We're afraid that we'll stick out, or that we'll be exposed or embarrassed.
That's why, here at The Coastlands, we do everything we can to make a safe place for you to experience God's love.
Jesus explained truths about God and life that amazed, comforted, and challenged those who heard Him. His message is this: that God loves the world and wants to rescue the world and every person in it.
Jesus loves Santa Cruz and every person in it. He's put us here to receive His love and to share His love. We all have a past. Don't worry about it. God's love can bring us through any struggle.
Our services are held on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am. God’s heart is to help us find our place in His family as we share life together. We have Children's Ministries for babies through 6th grade.
The junior high and high school group both have activities during both services. See The House page for more information.
