Welcome to Foundation 56, a classroom serving the fifth and sixth graders of The Coastlands! We meet during Sunday services at both 9am and 11am in the Foundation 56 room (located in the elementary hallway). This class was formed to help be a point of transition for children as they embrace the middle school years. We understand a lot of exciting and foundational moments are taking place and our desire is that through friendships, fun moments and God's word, we can add as many sturdy bricks to their foundation as possible. We pray this class can be a refuge and safe place, where your kids know they are loved and accepted. And the Foundation 56 teachers and team are here to be a support and friend to you and your child in the process.

Matthew 7:24-25 "Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."

Foundation 56 on Sundays | 9am and 11am | Grades 5th-6th | The F56 classroom
During 9am service, after we get our wiggles out and a few games in, we spend time reading through the weekly Bible story (often over a nice hot cocoa!) and attend the assembly. In 11am service, we prepare a skit for the Children’s Ministries assembly, helping to share the weekly Bible story to our younger friends. And never fear, even if you don't love to be on stage, there is a spot for everyone!
